Zoe works in an office. She takes a bee class. Now she has two beehives on her roof. In summer there is little honey. A swarm lands on a neighbor's balcony. Mr. Brandt is afraid of bees. He complains.
Zoe learns to be calm. She uses smoke and watches the hive. In autumn she gives Mr. Brandt a jar of honey. It tastes like the linden trees on their street. Next summer he brings water for the bees.
