- Device data: IP address, browser user agent, and a device fingerprint hash used to prevent abuse of the free plan.
- Content you generate: stories, flashcards, and other learning content you create within the app.

- To create and manage your account.
- To deliver the features of the service (AI-generated content, flashcard reviews, grammar checks, etc.).
- To enforce usage limits and subscription plans.
- To send transactional emails (email verification, password reset). We do not send marketing emails without your consent.

3. AI Processing
LingunAI uses third-party large language model providers to generate content (stories, podcasts, grammar feedback, etc.). When you use these features, the text you submit (topics, words, prompts) is sent to these providers for processing. We do not share your name, email, or account details with AI providers.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Stripe — for payment processing.
- AI model providers — for content generation (prompt text only, no account identifiers).
- Google (AdSense) — to show ads on some pages to Free and Pro members. Google receives your IP address, browser details and the page being viewed; it does not receive your name, email or learning content. Premium members see no ads, and our pages send Google no advertising data about them.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — to operate the platform.
We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes.
