A city marathon ends. The winner crosses the line after two hours. The crowds go home. At seven in the evening, Hana is still running. She is over sixty. She runs for her husband. He always said, "Finish, whatever the time."
An old worker keeps the finish tape up. A few people stand on the last hundred meters with phone lights. Hana crosses in the dark. About twenty people clap. She says, "Thank you for waiting."
