Samuel is a bus driver. He is sixty-one, and he cannot read well. Nobody knows. One day his granddaughter Grace sends him a letter. Samuel cannot read it. He keeps it in his pocket for thirty-one days.
Then he sees a poster: "Reading class. Tuesdays at seven." He goes. The teacher is kind. After four months, Samuel reads the letter: "Dear Grandpa, I lost a tooth. When are you coming?" He smiles. Then he writes back.
