A snowstorm comes. Four hikers run into a small hut: Ida, Jonas, his sister Pia and Mr. Lee. The hut has a stove, one candle and some cards.
Each person has some food: noodles, an onion, a stock cube, cheese. Together they cook dinner. They play cards, tell stories and laugh. At dawn the snow stops, and a rescue team arrives. "See you here next summer!" they say. Next summer, four sleeping bags are in the hut again.
