Joon sweeps the main street before sunrise. Nobody sees him. He knows the city by its sounds: the baker's first oven, the newspaper van, the nurse's shoes. He sweeps around a sleeping dog.
One morning there is a cup of hot coffee on his bench. There is a note: "For the person who keeps our city clean, from room 4B." Joon drinks it and smiles. The next day there is another cup and a child's drawing.
