The Twelfth Face

Tess buys an old house with a blue door. In the attic she finds a photo. Eleven people stand on the front steps. On the back it says, "Twelve of us. Find the twelfth." Tess looks again and again. There are eleven! Old Mr. Hale says, "Little Maud was shy. She hid from cameras." Tess sees a face in the window of the photo. It is Maud! Months later, Maud comes back. In a new photo, she waves from the window.
